Streamdin Shows You Tweets from Your Neighborhood
With Streamdin, you can search Twitter for specific cities and places, and the map will shift to show what you searched for. Overlaid on the map you’ll see Twitter avatars for users who are posting to Twitter from that location. If you hover over one of their avatars, you can see what they said while they were there, when they said it, and how long ago they posted it.

Our quest for the cool factor
Twitter is great for announcements, but the 140 character limit is like wearing jeans 5 sizes too small - so much yummy goodness but nowhere to go. We’ll continue to use our @streamdin Twitter handle to network and push faster-than-RSS updates out but reserve most of the gritty details for our new updates log (you’re looking at it).
As awesome as WordPress is, none of us wanted to pull the “you’re installing and maintaining the blog” straw. And by pulling straws I mean the rest of the guys won’t maintain a WordPress install and I’m too lazy.
In any case, follow us on Tumblr, subscribe to our RSS feed and follow us on Twitter if you’re crazy enough to want to keep tabs on the latest and greatest in regards to Streamd.in.
